Portable steam sauna kit
How It Works
The system consists of three primary components that work together to create a high-heat, high-humidity environment:
-
The Sauna Tent: A tall, upright enclosure made from multi-layered, waterproof, and heat-insulated fabric (the blue quilted material shown). It is designed to trap steam and maintain a high internal temperature.
-
The Steam Generator: The blue and black unit pictured on the left. You fill this with water, and it boils it to produce steam, which is then pumped into the tent through a connecting hose.
-
The Seating: It includes a small, foldable blue chair that fits inside the tent, allowing the user to sit comfortably during the session.
Key Features
-
Full-Body Design: This is a "walk-in" style portable sauna, meaning the user’s entire body, including the head, is inside the tent.
-
Observation Window: A clear PVC window on the front allows the user to see out, which helps prevent a claustrophobic feeling and allows for light to enter.
-
Zippered Entry: The front features a large, durable zipper for easy entry and exit.
-
Space-Saving: The tent uses a pop-up or internal frame design that can be collapsed into a flat shape for storage under a bed or in a closet.
Common Uses & Benefits
-
Detoxification: Promoting heavy sweating to help clear pores.
-
Muscle Recovery: The heat helps soothe sore muscles after a workout.
-
Stress Relief: Provides a private, warm space for relaxation.
-
Weight Management: Often used as a supplement to fitness routines to shed water weight and increase heart rate.
Note: When using a machine like this, it is important to stay hydrated and consult a doctor if you have heart conditions or are pregnant, as the high heat can be intense.
